PC Browser Racing Game: Play a Racing Game in Browser on Desktop (Free)
Want a PC browser racing game you can open on your computer with no install? CGT Rocket X Racer is a free, fan-made racing game in browser built for desktop: steer a rocket-boosted flying car through SUPER FACTORY, dodge hazards and keep the run going.
Why play a racing game in the browser on desktop?
A desktop browser gives you a keyboard and a wide view of the track. That matters when you need to read obstacles ahead, time a boost and stay in landscape. We ship for Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on a computer first — not as a phone WebGL path.
What you do in a run
- Steer left and right through factory lanes
- Boost to fly over presses, sweeping arms and other hazards
- Dodge market debuffs and short drones that knock you off course
- Collect parts along the way to unlock car skins
It feels like an endless runner with lift-off: the track keeps coming, and flight is how you clear trouble instead of only swerving. More on that pacing in our endless runner browser notes and flight pacing write-up.
How this build ships
The playable build is a Godot HTML5 export aimed at a normal desktop HTTPS origin. If you care about export choices (no-threads vs threaded WebAssembly), read Godot 4 web export notes. Community invite tracks after a forum or DEV write-up: /x/godot and /x/devto.
