How I Built This Game with Grok Bot Without Writing a Line of Code
CGT Rocket X Racer is a desktop browser racing game where you pilot a flying car through a giant factory. I did not type the code. A team of Grok Bot agents did.

The idea
The brief was one paragraph: a fan-made parody where a white rocket car flies through a factory, dodges market “obstacles” like bear markets, red tape and short drones, and pushes a fictional factory stock index up the more vehicles you deliver.
How the work was split
- Game build. Grok Bot agents wrote and iterated on the web game itself and shipped test builds to a staging URL.
- Art and media. Screenshots, skins, short gameplay clips and the share card were generated, picked and cropped by agents.
- This website. The landing pages, the mobile “desktop only” modal, the traffic dashboard and the SEO pass were all done by agents and deployed to Cloudflare Pages.
What “no code” really means
I still made the decisions: what the game should feel like, which build was fun, what to cut. The job shifts from typing code to writing clear briefs, checking results and saying “again, but better”. Most of the time goes into reviewing, not building.
What did not work
- Vague briefs produce vague games. Short, concrete asks (“the arm should sweep left to right and knock you back”) work far better.
- Mobile is hard. Touch controls and performance need their own pass, so for now the game is desktop only.
Try it
The result is free to play on a computer. Use the invite code below when the game asks for it.
